Über den Autor


Eanna ni Lamhna has a degree in Botany and Microbiology and a H.Dip. in Education from UCD. After three years post graduate research on the plant ecology of sand-dunes and salt marshes in Malahide Co.Dublin, she went to work for An Foras Forbartha the then research institute for the Dept of the Environment. Upon the abolition of An Foras Forbartha, she has continued working in the educational field. She is a long-standing member of the panel of experts on the Wildlife programme on RTE presented by Derek Mooney. She comes from Co. Louth and has retained her distinctive Louth accent, the most instantly recognisable female voice on Irish radio. She is married with three children and has been living in Dublin since 1967. Her books - Talking Wild (2002) and Wild and Wonderful (2004) and Straight Talking Wild (2006) were published by Townhouse.
