The Transgressors
Francis Alexandre Adams (1874-1975), the son of John Quincy Adams (1848-1911), was a member of the Massachusetts Adams family that produced two US Presidents. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He worked as a newspaper editor and journalist, and was the author of several books including Who Rules America? (1899), The Transgressors (1900), subtitled The Story of a Great Sin, a political novel, and a biography of Roosevelt (1909).
