Peter Ryan is Director of the FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology atthe University of Cape Town. He is a keen bird photographer, has travelledwidely in pursuit of birds and has authored a range of books on birds andvarious subantarctic islands. Seabirds are Peter's special area of interest.
