Edward De Chazal graduated from the University of London and began his teaching career in Izmir, Turkey in 1987. Since then he has taught English for Specific, Business, and Academic Purposes in several contexts, including Bilkent University School of English Language in Ankara, Turkey, and the Joint Command and Staff College in Kuwait. In London he has been a teacher trainer for Trinity College London's certificate and diploma in TESOL, and as a Trinity examiner for their ESOL spoken and written examinations he has visited a number of countries including the UK and Ireland, Italy, Spain, Hungary and Argentina. Edward is a regular presenter at IATEFL and other conferences, particularly in the field of English for Academic Purposes. From 2002 to 2011 he worked at the University College London (UCL) Language Centre. Edward is now an independent writer, presenter and trainer, and has co-authored the new Oxford EAP series. His most recent project is the creation of new material such as student-facing EAP videos and PowerPoints at his website Jurassic Academic. He is the author of Macmillan's In Company 3.0 (A1/Starter) with Mark Powell, Simon Clarke, John Allison and Ed Pegg. Ed Pegg teaches the International Business Communication programme at the London School of English, where he provides language and communication training to multi-cultural groups of professionals. He specialises in English for international management and cross cultural pragmatics with a particular interest in identifying best practice in communication in multi-cultural working environments. Ed is co-author of the new Starter level of In Company 3.0, a new edition of Macmillan's successful business English course and is author of the following titles in the new In Company 3.0 ESP series: Sales, Corporate Finance and Investment. Ed recently received the inaugural Excellence in Business English Training award from English UK in acknowledgement of his innovative, client-focused approach to Business English training.
