Paedagogus, The Instructor, was the second in the trilogy of Clement of Alexandria. Having laid a foundation in the knowledge of divine truth in the first book, Protrepticus (Exhortation to the Heathen), he goes on in the Paedagogus to develop a Christian ethic.
