Über den Autor
Nick Doumanis teaches world history at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. His main areas of interest are the Mediterranean world, ethnic coexistence, diaspora networks, migration, popular religion, and Greek popular culture. His most recent book is entitled Before the Nation: Muslim-Christian Coexistence and its Destruction in Late Ottoman Anatolia (2013). He is currently working on two-book length projects: a long diachronic history ofthe eastern Mediterranean, and a study of Greek migration to Australia after the Second World War.
