Über den Autor
Kleckner's first book of poetry Paper Airplanes was published in 2016. This book builds on the promise of that first collection. She is a co- founder of the Mary Oliver Poetry Series, an open mike forum for authors from suburban Chicago to share their work. Kleckner has had poems published in various anthologies and online platforms. She hones her craft as a member of Writers Bloc and Barrington Writers Workshop. She grew up with little interest in poetry, until discovering Wendell Berry and Mary Oliver some thirty years ago. While honoring these poetic icons, she has developed her own unique voice as a poet. A retired Marriage and Family Therapist, she enjoys her roles as poet, mother, grandmother and most recently, great-grandmother....
