Castello Santa Maria

When Christine Berner responds to an offer of work from, Signora LaFranchi, an old friend of her mother's, at the Castello Santa Maria in the southern Swiss Alps she has no idea of what she is letting herself in for. In the old castle, set in a secluded alpine valley, Christine discovers, to her horror, a community of young women living regimented and cloistered lives, presided over by their formidable Mistress and subjected to Draconian discipline. Trapped within the castle, Christine is subjected to the humiliating regime, the sexual advances of her fellow inmates and the continual threat of corporal punishment.
