Professor Jean-Christophe Attias holds the chair of the History of Rabbinic Culture at the École Pratique des Hautes Études, Sorbonne. Professor Esther Benbassa holds the chair of Modern Jewish History at the École Pratique des Hautes Études, Sorbonne.
