Sarah Hill is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Music, Cardiff University, UK. She has published work on Welsh-language popular music and cultural identity, progressive rock, and female vocality. A native of Oakland, California, and a fluent Welsh speaker, Sarah is also Co-ordinating Editor of Popular Music and Chair of the UK/Ireland branch of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM).
