The Author: Donald Clark Hodges is Professor of Philosophy and Affiliate Professor of Political Science at Florida State University as well as the founder and coeditor of Social Theory and Practice. He received his Ph.D. in Philosophy at Columbia University. Internationally recognized in Who's Who in the World, he is the author-editor of a hundred professional articles and a score of books, including Socialist Humanism, The Bureaucratization of Socialism, and America's New Economic Order.
