Über den Autor
David Vila Vila, born 1933 in Terrassa, Spain, was the son of Editorial CLIE's founder, Samuel Vila, and his wife Lidia. He studied theology first at a Bible Institute in Lausanne, Switzerland, and later at All Nations Bible College in England and Gordon College in Massachusetts. He taught Spanish literature at the Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and created the Spanish version of the Temple Time radio program, which made his voice recognizable throughout Latin America. In 1970 he founded the Spanish Evangelical Literature Fellowship (TSELF), based in Fort Lauderdale, which had exclusive rights to distribute the books of Editorial CLIE in the United States. He traveled throughout Latin America promoting Spanish literature until 1994, when he retired and returned to Grand Rapids, where he passed away in 2008.
