Ethics in Counseling and Therapy

The first of its kind, Ethics in Counseling and Therapy is not merely another text on ethical and legal issues in counseling. Where this book clearly differentiates itself is that it presents a framework for helping future counselors develop an ethical identity by laying a solid foundation of ethics from various complimentary fields (such as philosophy, sociology and political science). This text develops the counselor as a person, so they can make ethical decisions based on a solid foundation of theory, rather than memorizing and trying to follow loose ethical guidelines that are often changing.
