Über den Autor


The Authors: Christopher E. Smith earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee and his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. He is Professor of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. He is the author of seventeen books, including The Real Clarence Thomas: Confirmation Veracity Meets Performance Reality (Peter Lang, 2000), and Courts and the Poor. Christina DeJong earned her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. She is Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. Her writings have appeared in Criminology and other journals. John D. Burrow earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin and his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University. He is Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of South Carolina. His research has appeared in Crime and Delinquency and University of Toledo Law Review.
