This book recounts an ethnographic study of a mixed-occupancy housing estate near the centre of London, refocusing the scholarly conversation around social housing in the U.K. after the 1980 Housing Act. Über den Autor
James Rosbrook-Thompson is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Anglia Ruskin University, UK. He is an urban sociologist whose research interests include 'race' and ethnicity, citizenship and belonging, youth delinquency, and sport. Gary Armstrong is Reader in Sociology at Brunel University, UK. He has written extensively on surveillance, youth delinquency, football hooliganism, and sporting cultures in a range of settings including Liberia and Malta.
