In a fantasy world where gangs of young cutthroats vie for the attention of their criminal overlord, James and his band are overjoyed to start a new rumble. Members of his gang are ignorant of the rest of the city and of the world that lies outside the sub-district they call home. They are also unaware of anything outside of the ancient, nocturnal, and shadowy criminal underworld culture to which they have pledged their loyalty.At the beginning of the conflict, James is happy to prove that he and his men have what it takes to become major players in the lawless Baron Thieves Guild. But because of treachery that results in the murder of his best friend, James realizes that the Guild is not what he wants.Set on vengeance, James devises a plan to assassinate those who betrayed him. Ironically, with the success of the assassinations, James becomes the major player that he didn't want to become. After his son is born, James yearns to escape from his destructive life so he can raise his child in peace.
