David L. Olson is the James & H.K. Stuart Professorin MIS and Chancellor's Professor at the Universityof Nebraska. He has published research in over 150refereed journal articles, primarily on the topic of multipleobjective decision making, information technology,supply chain risk management, and data mining. Heteaches in the management information systems, managementscience, and operations management areas.He has authored 18 books; is associate editor of ServiceBusiness, Decision Support Systems, and DecisionSciences; and co-editor in chief of International Journal of ServicesSciences. He was a Lowry Mays endowed Professor atTexas A&M University from 1999 to 2001. He was namedthe Raymond E. Miles Distinguished Scholar award for2002, and was a James C. and Rhonda Seacrest Fellowfrom 2005 to 2006. He was named Best Enterprise InformationSystems Educator by IFIP in 2006. He is a Fellowof the Decision Sciences Institute.
