Professor Ian Peate is Editor in Chief of the British Journal of Nursing. He was formerly Head of the School of Nursing & Midwifery at University of West London, and Associate Head of School of Nursing & Midwifery at University of Hertfordshire. He is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Healthcare Assistants, the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing, is a consultant Editor for the Journal of Paramedic Practice, and has published extensively in both books and journals.
