Paul Nathan is the Edgar Award–winning author of Ricochet and the Bert Swain Mysteries. For many years he contributed a widely read column on book subsidiary rights to Publishers Weekly. His stories and articles have been published in various magazines and he is author of Texas Collects: Fine Arts, Furniture, Windmills, and Whimseys and co-editor of the anthology View: Parade of Avant-Garde: 1940–1947. A resident of New York City, Nathan is married to literary agent Ruth Nathan.
