John Hills is Director of the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion and professor of Social Policy at the London School of Economics. Recent books include Making Social Policy Work (co-editor, 2007) and Inequality and the State (2004). Kitty Stewart is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) at LSE.
