Rattling the Cage: Toward Legal Rights for Animals
Buch
An animal rights lawyer explains how the failure to recognize the basic rights of chimpanzees and bonobos in light of modern scientific findings creates a glaring contradiction in our law. A path-breaking book that makes it impossible to continue thinking of animals as mere property.--Peter Singer, Princeton University.
