Robert Kennedy is a professor at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. Among his previous positions in nearly 35 years of government service, he has served as director of the Marshall Center, Garmisch, Germany; civilian deputy commandant, NATO Defense College, Rome, Italy; and Dwight D. Eisenhower professor of National Security Studies at the U.S. Army War College.
