The inclusion debate has become significantly more popular since the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities entered into force in Germany in 2009. The image of society often endorsed here is a remarkably dichotomous one, which has an inside and an outside. Inclusion is thus ascribed the character of a holy project, intended to provide people with disabilities admission into society. But there is no exclusion from society. However, there are massive exclusion processes within society. Getting rid of these processes would mean transforming society so that its focus on gainful employment and the standardizations of performance…
