She is on the organizing committee of the annual Lavender Languages and Linguistics series of conferences.HELEN SAUNTSON is a Lecturer in English Language at Birmingham University, UK. Her main teaching and research interests are in the areas of discourse analysis, language, gender and sexuality and language in education.
