Stewart Brown is head of the department at the Centre for West African Studies at the University of Birmingham. He is the editor of several books, essays, and anthologies, including All are Involved, The Art of Derek Walcott, The Heinemann Book of Caribbean Poetry, and The Oxford Book of Caribbean Short Stories.
