Candice Mary Thomas was born in Portland, Oregon, and from an early age loved to read and write. After receiving degrees in English Education from Oregon State University and Library and Media from Southern Oregon College, Candice became involved in the lives of children as teacher, librarian, and administrator in both public and private schools as well as in her church. More importantly to Candice, however, is the fact that she is a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves being with her husband, children, and grandchildren, playing on hands and knees or simply providing a listening ear.Candice loves reading, writing, walking, swimming, sewing, and knitting. She currently resides in Southern Oregon with her too wonderful for words husband, Terry.
