R. A. W. Rhodes is Professor of Government (Research) at the University of Southampton, UK, and Director of the Centre for Political Ethnography. He is the author or editor of 40 books including, most recently, The Art and Craft of Comparison (with J. Boswell and J. Corbett, Cambridge University Press 2019). Susan Hodgett is the founding Professor of Area Studies at the University of East Anglia, UK. Her most recent book is Necessary Travel. New Area Studies and Canada in Comparative Perspective (edited with Patrick James, Lexington Books, 2018).
