The United Nations Library on Transnational Corporations

Transnational corporations exert a tremendous impact on the economy, politics, society, and the environment of all countries. The research literature on the various aspects of transnational corporations is now vast. The Library of Transnational Corporations is a major publishing undertaking. Each of the twenty volumes takes a key theme and opens with a summary of the important issues and a survey of the research literature connected with that theme. The key research articles, drawn from a diverse range of books and journals, are reproduced. Each volume is introduced and the articles selected by a leading expert on the particular theme. Each volume has a comprehensive index and a full bibliography listing all important books and articles written on the theme being considered. A separate 21st volume will bring together the introductions of the 20 volumes.
