Über den Autor
FRANCIS LIEBER (1798-1872) was a German-born US lawyer and political philosopher. He fought with the Prussian Army in 1815 during the Napoleonic Wars. After being imprisoned in Prussia, he fled to England and immigrated to the United States in 1827, where he became famous for writing The Lieber Code.
