Her research interests focuse on the governance of religious pluralism, migration and integration, identities and gender relations.Birgit Sauer is Professor of Political Science at the Department of Political Science, University of Vienna, Austria. Her research fields include democracy and difference, critical governance studies, gender in political institution, state theory, gender and globalization, comparative gender policies.
