Nehal Bhuta is Professor of Public International Law at the European University Institute and Co-Director of the Academy of European Law. His research interests include political, social and legal theory, the history of the state, and the history of international law. He is an editor of Oxford University Press's series in the History and Theory of International Law, and a member of the Board of Editors of the European Journal of International Law and theJournal of International Criminal Justice, Humanity, and Constellations.
