Über den Autor
Michelle Nelson has completed a Ph.D. in conservation biology and writes about food and conservation for magazines and newspapers. She started homesteading in her one-bedroom East Vancouver apartment five years ago and now keeps chickens, quail, turkeys, geese, rabbits, goats and all kinds of beneficial microorganisms in a tiny cottage on Bowen Island with her partner in crazy awesomeness, shark biologist Christopher Mull.Alison Page is a freelance stylist and photographer who earned a master's degree photo-documenting marine snails before turning her creative attention to food and lifestyle photography. She lives in a high-rise in Vancouver, Canada, where she captures the work of local artisans on the leading edge of urban food culture and sustainability.
