Beeing Happy with Unicorn Jazz and Friends
In the first children's unicorn book series, Unicorn Jazz started off feeling a bit shy and unwelcomed after she moved to a new place far away from her first home. The idea of being unique is a lesson learned for Jazz with the help of her new flying friend, Woof the Crow, who showed her how to celebrate being different from everyone else and why she should not hide or change who she is. By the end book one, with her head proudly held high, Jazz made more friends to play with, not by trying to fit in with everyone else, but just by being her beautiful self. The main teachings from the first book on feeling openly content…

Über den Autor
Lisa is a writer; founder and brand creator of Unicorn Jazz stories and its mission. Her 25 year branding and marketing background have helped launch Unicorn Jazz. Her quest for studying human behavior is seen in her books. There is a lot to the making of Unicorn Jazz with collaboration and help of so many people, too many to name. I appreciate every one of you!I wrote the first book, Unicorn Jazz to help parents and teachers have important conversations with children that include compassion and understanding and to help children realize they have the power to reach out. I also wrote it to help children who look or feel different, who might be teased at school (like I was) to get some kind of support. This is a story that has many lessons depending on your child's age. Some top takeaways have been: I am different and that's awesome. We're all different as human beings. We all thrive for friendship, kindness and love in our lives. It's been so fun for me to create the lessons and the stories that focus around friendship, kindness, and love. The first book introduces the character, Woof the Crow, who believes in Unicorn Jazz. After the story is read, I like to point out how sometimes it takes just one person to believe in you, or for you to believe in them, to change your life. My teachers believed in me, my grandmother believed in me, and I can give a list of names who have supported my dreams and goals. I have had so many Woof the Crows in my life, as I now call them, and I invite others to give gratitude to those who have helped them along the way. Perhaps, YOU, are the one who believes in another and SHOWS it - that can be life changing to someone.
