William Davies is a sociologist and policy analyst. His writing has appeared in The New Left Review, Prospect, the Financial Times, Political Quarterly, the Daily Beast. He is an associate editor of Renewal and of openDemocracy. The BBC describes him as one of the UK's leading thinkers on e-democracy and he has appeared on radio often. His website www.potlatch.co.uk was featured in the New York Times Idea for the Day series. He is currently the assistant professor, University of Warwick.
