Caroline Milbank is a fashion historian and the author of several books, including New York Fashion: The Evolution of American Style (Abrams, 1996), The Couture Accessory (Abrams, 1999 and 2002), and Couture: The Great Designers (STC, 1985). She has also contributed to such publications as Vogue, Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and The New York Times Magazine. Her expertise has also been sought to curate costumes at exhibitions for MFIT, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Clark Institute in Williamstown, among others.
