Über den Autor
William Peter McArthur was born at Viking, Alberta, Canada, on a day that our prime minister, William Lyon Mackenzie King, was in Bermuda. Both of Peter's grandfathers were born in the 1850s, which explains his lifelong interest in early history. His parents were born into the second families of their fathers, and he had a multitude of older aunts and uncles of those first families, maternally and paternally related, so searching history came second nature to this author.
