Gary LaFree is Director of the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) and Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland.Laura Dugan is Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland. She is co-principal investigator for the GTD and the Government Actions in Terrorist Environments (GATE) dataset. Erin Miller is co-principal investigator and program manager for the GTD at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START).
