Über den Autor
J.D. Beresford was an Edwardian author who contributed several works to the early Science Fiction and horror genres. Though he began his career as an architect, he found his true calling as a writer and went on to author more than forty novels. A victim of infantile polio, he was paralyzed for most of his life. He was known to be a friend to D.H. Lawrence, whose work Berseford's story The Sceptical Poltergeist appeared along side in the publication The New Decameron.
