In 2001, Brenda started to write stories around an insect Character created by her daughter Claire Ng-Martin. Brenda added a family and friends, developing an insect community. She designed the stories for children's enjoyment and to help their reading abilities. Brenda is a creative writer and health & wellness coach. She founded the Come Alive School of Natural Health & Wellbeing, where she works as a practitioner.
