The Novel 'Voices Of Yesterday' is the story of a group of Jews who take on the might of the German Waffen SS. Set in the turbulent times of the Jewish Ghetto 1942-43 against the backdrop of wanton cruelty and starvation. Nearly half a million Jews were crowded into a walled of section of the city of Warsaw, not much bigger than a square mile square to await deportation to the Death camps. Über den Autor
Michael Yarwood was born in 1948 in Liverpool. He joined the British Army straight from school at the age of 15. He has had various jobs since, but his heart was always been in writing and believes 'The Pen Is Mightier than the Sword'. He also studied the Holocaust from an early age and firmly believes that what happened to the Jewish and Gypsy communities of Europe, should never be forgotten during those horrific times of the Second World War. Michael now lives in Devon with his wife Jean. He has two sons and a daughter, Peter, David, and Sarah.
