Employing various approaches - thematic, philosophical, and biographical - the author presents an original perspective of the major works of Su and Wordsworth. Although the book deals primarily with these two literary figures, it also successfully explores the similarities and differences between the classical Chinese and Western Romantic traditions that they represent.

Über den Autor

The Author: Vincent Young is Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature and Chinese at The Pennsylvania State University. He received his B.A. from National Taiwan University, and M.A. and Ph.D. from Rutgers University. He has published in Chinese, English, and comparative literature in various journals throughout the United States and the Republik of China.
