Über den Autor
Marc Pilisuk, professor emeritus at the University of California, is currently on the faculty at the San Francisco-based Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center. He is a founding member of Psychologists for Social Responsibility and of the first anti-war teach-in in 1965. He is a co-chair of the working group on Global Violence and Security for the Society for Study of Peace, Conflict, and Violence, and the author of many books and articles dealing with issues of peace, poverty, and social justice, including his most recent book, the Praeger title Who Benefits from Global Violence and War: Uncovering a Destructive System. Michael Nagler, professor emeritus at the University of California, founded the Peace and Conflict Studies Program at the University of California, Berkeley. He is co-chair of the Peace and Justice Studies Association, president of the Metta Center for Nonviolence Education, and author of The Search for a Nonviolent Future, among other works.
