The papers collected in this volume are selected from the proceedings of the Love and Sexuality conference held at the University of Leeds in 2002. They bring together a cross-section of new directions in the study of love and sexuality currently being explored in French Studies. Über den Autor
The Editors: Sarah F. Donachie has a First Class Honours degree in French and Italian, and an M.A. with Distinction in Modern European Cultures and Societies from the University of Hull. In December 2004 she completed a Ph.D. entitled Love, Marriage and Gender in Stendhal's Fiction at the University of Leeds and now works at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Kim Harrison has a BA Honours degree in French Studies and was awarded a distinction for her M.A. by Research degree, on the singer-songwriter Renaud in 2000. She is completing her Ph.D. thesis on Reflexivity in French Chanson (University of Leeds) and she lives and teaches in Vancouver, Canada.
