They were then performed with great success at the Tall Tales evenings in Kilburn until the letters were picked up by the BBC for broadcast in autumn 2011.

Robert Hudson (Author) Robert Hudson's first novel, The Kilburn Social Club, was published by Jonathan Cape in 2009. With Marie Phillips, he writes the BBC Radio 4 series, Warhorses of Letters. He lives in London.Marie Phillips (Author) Marie Phillips was born in London in 1976. Her first novel, Gods Behaving Badly, was published in 2007. Widely acclaimed, it was translated into over fifteen languages and made into a feature film. She is also the writer, with fellow novelist Robert Hudson, of the BBC Radio 4 series Warhorses of Letters.
