Über den Autor
Horst Dippel war bis 2009 Professor für British and American Studies an der Universität Kassel. Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt ist die amerikanisch-westeuropäische Verfassungsgeschichte, 18.-20. Jh., zu der er u.a. die Constitutions of the World from the Late 18th Century to the Middle of the 19th Century in 33 Bänden (2005-2014) herausgegeben hat. Seine Geschichte der USA erschien 2015 in 10. Auflage.
