Doctor Lee hails from up in The Blue Ridge Mountains in Jellico, Tennessee. Following the family business, he becomes a country preacher. But, he certainly does not conduct himself as a man of the cloth. He has illicit affair after illicit affair-all with the good sisters who attend his church. It is after he meets Sister Imma Cummin that Reverend Doctor Lee's life takes a terrible turn for the worst. Sister Imma Cummin has the reputation of being the devil's wife, sister and/or mistress.
