He is the author of several publications, most recently Ethical Journalism: A Guide for Students and The Vanishing Newspaper: Saving Journalism in the Information Age, Updated Second Edition.Esther Thorson is the Associate Dean of Journalism at the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
