Marty D. Matlock, PhD, PE, CSE, is past president of the American Ecological Engineering Society and Director of the Center for Agricultural and Rural Sustainability at the University of Arkansas. He is a registered professional engineer and a certified senior ecologist. Robert A. Morgan, PhD, PE, is Manager of Environmental Quality of the Beaver Water District, which is responsible for protecting the water quality of a major water supply system through watershed management.
