Vaux Distinguished Professor of Forest Policy and Professor of Society and Environment in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management at the University of California, USA. She is Co-Director of the Berkeley Workshop in Environmental Politics. Christian Lund is Professor of Development Studies at Roskilde University, Denmark and the Director of the Research Unit, ProCit (Property and Citizenship in Developing Societies).
