Judaism is one of the world's oldest monotheistic religions, and has birthed another of the world's largest religions: Christianity. The history of Judaism is the history of the Jewish people, a group which more than any other is defined by their religion. Jews have suffered much at the hands of a great many religions and governments, most notably during the Holocaust. This book provides a brief overview of Jewish beliefs and practices, antisemitic beliefs, and criticism of Judaism. Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
